Playground Dedication

Macon Missouri

 

Approximately 100 guest, students and staff attended a playground dedication held at Tri-County Christian school Monday. During the dedication, a safer playground surface was unveiled.

 

The project for the school was funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and its Solid waste Management Fund. The new surfacing, made from patented rubber and polymer tiles, utilizes recycled tires to protect c hildren against injuries from falls to the surface on playgrounds and was developed and manufactured exclusively by Welch Products.

 

Tim Mahoney, with Welch Products is addressing the crowd during the ceremony. The piece of Playground equipment (picture in the photo) is also a new addition to the playground.
